This has such a dark, sinister quality to it. It is what I would have imagined for "Dark Shadows" had Burton gone for a more serious tone. By relegating the particulars of his clothing to the shadows, you have brought his face looming into the forefront. The light dances off his cheekbones and a glint is seen in his left iris. The expression is one of cold menace; the mouth is set in almost a snarl. Interesting semi-circular effect above his head which serves to highlight his dark hair. Color is kept to cool monochromes throughout with the occasional highlight.
The overall eeriness of this portrait rates it an A+.
Its pretty cool. I just wish the smirk was a little more pronounced. Also the highlights on his lips on his right side looks odd. That little dot of highlight I can't tell if it is the lips or a wart or something. Overall, kick ass!
